Choral and Orchestral Conductor | Educator | Creative Leader

Lucia Bérešová is a Slovak choral and orchestral conductor, educator, and creative leader currently based in Spain. Her work explores new ways of connecting people through collective singing, creativity, and interdisciplinary collaboration. She believes that choral art can be a space for empathy, imagination, and transformation — a place where sound becomes a bridge between human stories.

Holding a PhD in conducting from the Academy of Music in Kraków, Lucia is the founder and conductor of ResonArt Vocal Ensemble (Barcelona) and the co-founder and co-conductor of Revoice International Vocal Ensemble, performing across Europe. She also co-leads Common Ground Voices – In Times of War, an international project using choral music to foster dialogue and peace among people affected by global conflict.

Her artistic work combines choral performance with movement, light, projection, poetry, and improvisation, creating immersive and socially engaged projects such as Tothom, Roots and Wings, and Colors of Life. Through her creative approach, she empowers amateur and senior singers to become co-authors of the artistic process, turning choirs into living communities of trust and expression.

Lucia regularly teaches workshops across Europe and works as an external lecturer at Palacký University in Olomouc (Czech Republic) and the Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrica (Slovakia). She is also a member of the Technical Committee of the Catalan Choral Federation (FCEC).

For her, music is a continuous search for creative and human connection — a way to share musical, emotional, and social experiences that inspire, heal, and unite.
